[HoE] re: Cyborg/Junkers
Since we were discussing it the other day, thought I would play around with
a Junker-built "cyborg" arm.
The Frame size seems about right, a 1 struck me as a tad too small.
No doubt folks will correct me if I'm wrong, but the only two things you
seem to need to put into such a device would be Strength and Agility. It
would seem like the owner would supply the relative skills, so Brains really
doesn't seem necessary here. Programming an arm with, say, the
Fightin'/Brawlin' skill doesn't seem appropriate, somehow.
If you did have to do this, you presumably buy a processor (1d4, 1 slot) and
a slug slot (2 slots). That would reduce the final power pack total below
from 90 to 60, but otherwise wouldn't seem to change anything.
Let me know...
Cybernetic Arm
Frame 2 (16 slots)
Base Strength: 2d4
Super-Strength +3 coordination (-.48 slots, round up to 1)
Super-Strength dice-boost to d12 (3.2 slots)
Agility 3d8 (1.92)
Drain: Strength (3/hour), Agility (2/hour) = 5/hour
Power: 9 10-GR power packs = 90 GR (9 slots total, 6 with the "smart"
version mentioned above)
