are you sure? It says to see Fortress o' Fear, and is ambiguous on success
or failure. Also, yes, it is a Deadland.

OK. Jo says there is nothing there, civilization-wise. I did not get the
impression this was from first hand experience. As you can tell from Road
Warriors, Jo missed a LOT. Now, secrecy would be key to this place. We
have an enclave of Junkers, we have Jackie Wells, at least one Law
Dog. Now the Law Dogs and the Templars cooperate, but given the
holier-then-thou attitude the Templars have with the Law Dogs, would they
really want to let them in on this? think about it. what if the Law Dogs,
not the Templars, saved the day and made the difference? Irony there?

My point is: if word got out of this place, they could have problems. thus
they don't tell everyone. No one told Jo, thus its not in Hell's
Atlas. The Convoy does not go there, thus it is not in The Long, Lonely
Road. My guess is its a bunch of Junkers, who are getting supplied
equipment by Law Dogs.

Now the Marshal's section did not say if the eggheads were there or not.
interesting exclusion. as for the remaining Crossbreeds, these mutations
(who are in the bottom of the tower, not the top where the portal is) may
well be no challenge for Law Dogs and Junkgun-welding Junkers. Methinks
their raygun days are over.

just an idea.
