Nope. The manitou's energy stays the same unless you take the "Burned
Out" Hindrance. Only the Cans' Spirit drops when Cyberware is implanted.

I would say 'yes', if you *REALLY* didn't want to spend it on cyberware.
It does say that this cash can *ONLY* be used to buy Cyborg equipment,
which includes systems, programs, cyberware, and cyborg weapons.

Nope. You can choose to be a Can just like you can choose to be Harrowed
or a Templar or a Doomsayer or an Ordinary Joe, et cetera. Having a
specific hand really just goes back to Hucksters, Mad Scientists, et
cetera.

When coming back Harrowed, the character takes 5 more points of
Hindrances to simulate the trauma of coming back from beyond the pale
and to "pay for" the 10 points he gets to buy Harrowed Powers with.
These Hindrances can be from a death wound ["Ugly as Sin"] or just
mental trauma cause by waking up dead ["Angst"]. Cyborgs can take
Harrowed Hindrances, but they don't get any points to buy powers with
[because they don't have time (usually) to develop them. All the
manitou's energy is immediately used to power the 'borgs cybernetics].

Hope that helps.
