Further research and I dig up that the Green Hornet is The Lone Ranger's
Nephew's Grandson. Reid Publishing, the Hornet's base of operations, was
built n the silver mine that The Ranger and his brother, Dan were planning
to use for their retirement. That was also where the Ranger got his silver
bullets.

 Hmm, the legend says the ranger used silver bullets to remind him how
expensive it was to fire a gun at a man, but we all know that the Ranger was
hunting servitors and the minions of the Reckoners...
