But then you have to consider some of the powers available to the
doomsayers. Through the use of powers such as Molecular cohesion (fail roll
vs. healing target number to not take any wounds) Doomies are less likely to
take wounds. Regarding your point as to a Doomie passing out... Unless they
take a major wound or are very careless with how they use their powers, its
unlikely they'll pass out. Think about 2 of the main stats for Doomsayers...
Spirit for faith (usually D12's if you get one) and Vigor for strain(d10's/
d12's) That means usually around 20 - 24 wind. Hrrrmm... 33 atomic blasts
is looking real nice about now. Now combine that with edges such as Child of
the atom(extra strain) and tough as nails(extra wind). Think about other
powers available, MIRV for instance, multiple atomic blast (equal to faith
level) for 2 strain more than atomic blast... Up that to 70 atomic blasts in
the space of 15 rounds..... And all this I discovered withot having read the
books before hand. I would most certainly call lifetap a edge rather than a
hinderance, and possibly a 5 pointer at that.

Please don't get me wrong, I don't believe myself to be a munchkin. You'l be
happy to know my Doomie only took one offensive power, the staple atomic
blast (still a pretty awesome power). I just feel its right to point out
what seems like such blatant mistakes.

anyway enough ranting and raving (and sucking up to B.D.) from me.
