Ooooh, yeah!  Those things were the "Graken".  Not only did they
apparently have no eyes, but they also had big nasty teeth, four arms
and an amazing natural ability to find warm fleshy things and rip 'em to
pieces. Weird? Yes.  Effective in making the posse poop their collective
britches and run screaming for mommy?  Hell yes.  I use those too,
though not exactly in the way portrayed by the comic.
Personally, I think the Cancer Zombies were a wonderful addition to the
undead family - nice gross out factor.  My posse hasn't gotten around to
them yet, but rest assured they will.
