[HoE] Armour and Gun Browsers
I would like to know if there is any rules on "layering" of armour.
Thats mean if you wear more than 1 piece of armour over the same location.
I curruntly rule it as
Player takes the full value of one armour of their choice than any
successive piece of armour provides only half the protection to that location.
I am thinking of also adding a penalty to their action relating to
nimbleness and deftness equal to the protection provided by the additional
pieces of armour. The player uses the single highest bonus they recieve and
apply it.
eg. If player wears an infantry battlesuit plus kelvar vest. He gets the
full AV 2 given by the Infantry Battlesuit and AV1 (AV2 halfed = AV1) from
the kelvar vest. He also applies a 1 die penalty to all nimbleness/Deftness
rolls. if its a AV -2, then apply a -2 modifiers to his rolls.
Is this too harsh or is there some official rule that exist which I have
missed? I have to admit that this is a variant of layering of armour rules
for the rpg, Shadowrun.
Second thing,
does Gun Browsers or Familiars give the taint to Junkers like Gun Spirits?
