Hey, yeah...great book! Loved the hell hound. Wish Pratchett/Gaiman
would take another swing at something. Anyway, has anyone been reading
"The Conversations" over at Wounds Unlimited? It reminds me A LOT of
this book - interesting idea to guide a campaign along.

I'm with you on the human heart thing - filled with capacity for the
creation of great good and great evil. As for the Reckoners, whatever
they really are, perhaps they chose their manifested forms based upon
archetypal evils and fears within the hearts of mankind? The Four
Horsemen of the Apocalypse are a pretty good representation of man's
base fears, drawing their power from the evils we enact upon each
other...but what are these four things really? Chicken or the
egg...which came first Reckoners or Revelations? Was it really prophecy
or did we help "something else" make our monsters? Or maybe I'm just
babbling horse hockey. Anyhow, the way these things usually work, isn't
there also usually a single major bad guy pulling the strings? Is it
going to put in an appearance if/when the Reckoners go down, or are they
the extent of it's power on Earth?
