Are you talking current rules or the proposed revised rules that were
mentioned earlier by Shane?
Under the current rules, those points you get for Veteran of the Weird West
don't go very far when you're building your Huckster and have to worry about
individual Hex skill levels... ;)
Regardless, you can't really build a 10-15 skill level Huckster under the
current system as far as I can tell, even if you have to worry about only
one Hexslingin' skill, rather than the individual Hex skill levels.
