Re: [HoE] Question for the Day (6/8)
Just to make sure we understand this right, concerning Dodge and Vamoosin'.
You can only use Dodge when you are under attack, and only as a Vamoosin'
action (under normal combat circumstances, as opposed to using it for
nefarious other rolls like getting out from under falling debris, avoiding
trap doors, stuff like that).
Dodging/Vamoosin' represents going for cover and stuff (at least against
ranged attacks). But if multiple folks are shooting at you, and you're in
the process of moving/Vamoosin' when the cards indicate they shoot at you,
do you get the Dodge benefits against _them_ as well as the first person
who
shot at you who you Vamoosed against in the first place?
And do you get the benefit of the first Dodge roll you made against all
these other shooters, or should you roll separately for each one?
It seems like you should get some kind of benefit on Dodgin' against
multiple shots from multiple sources directed at you, but the rules don't
really make this clear.

I'd roll once and apply that to all attacks against the character made at
that time. i.e. Your attacked at 7 of spades by 3 varmits. use your 1
roll against all 3.
I assume of course, that you know your being attacked. IIRC, surprised
characters don't get the option.
