This is what I was sorta' hoping but I guess we'll have to get an official
word on it.

True, but I think it would be a neat concept. I mean, if you did get a
pretty damn good draw (with two d12's and the d10 needed), the basis of
the character would be a syker who has been in training for awhile but
they have this new drug that makes super soldier. . .they think, "hmmm, I
wonder if the adverse side effects could be negated by simple sheer will
power or if they even would manifest themselves in a more advanced
warrior" At that point, bam, there he is. Maybe not the greatest syker,
but he has potential. . .and the qualifications. So maybe he was a
guinea pig that didn't turn out for the best, but he still would be a
functional syker (albeit, not the uber-syker that most people would like
to have), but also one who wouldn't have to rely on his powers as much.
He might have had training in hand to hand combat and proficient as a
sniper. . .who knows? I personally think that the character would have a
lot of potential in terms of roleplaying AND functionality. Maybe give
him night terrors for being in the faraway war or something. Throw me a
bone here. . .it does sound at least plausible doesn't it?
My opinion, that's all. I just thought it would be cool to make a
character if the circumstances permitted.
