  Remember that it's not just the radiation that causes the mutations,
it's also the spirit energy released in the ghost rock explosions.  The
Harrowed may not be affected by the rads but the G-rays burn 'em just
the same.  The spiritual influence is also the reason why people are
being mutated so much, instead of just dropping dead.
