[HoE] Horror in HoE

I've noticed that the level of horror in the published PEG adventures for HoE
is way down compared to Deadlands.  This, obviously, is because the Reckonign
has become, well, conspicuous.  However, I think good horror is great if
properly done, and was wondering if anyone has run any horror type adventures
in HoE, or if there is any reading material that might be of use.  Post-
apocalyptic horror is not the most common genre ever (that's for sure!), but
I'm hoping that maybe somebody here has enough esoteric knowledge to help me
out here.  So...anything?
