I can see the point on the beta game concept. I just think its the kernel of
a well thought out plan. The concept has just refined itself. HoE and LC
just have the added refinement that the Weird West has paved.

As for Law Dogs, I agree, the guns were no real big deal. Every book I've
read is at it's best when real history or perceived history are involved.
The history and personalities make LD a great book.
