Do you think that Ripley would have allowed Newt to go with her on her
next mission (if she had a choice)?  She wouldn't even take the cat in
the second movie.

Again, I could see a character like this for a one shot adventure or as a
plot device.  My problem just comes from continually allowing a child to
tag along into hostile situations.  I just don't see it.

I'm gonna shut up now before I piss too many people off.
