Well, all I have to say to that last comment is: Name a war that was
fought for just ONE reason.
But just as a reminder, the Templars in HoE(on the whole) aren't
really fashioned out of the Knights Templars so much as Simon Mercer's
perception of the what the Templars were, or might of been. Until just
a few years ago(in HoE time), Simon Mercer was no more than a scvanger
himself- and not a history professer(that we know of, anyway).
Of course, this isn't to say YOUR Templar character can't try and
fashion himself after the original knights.
