Actually, I used a similar idea for a character.  He's a shaman with a turtle
guardian spirit who doesn't follow the old ways.  Carries around his
grandfather's peacemaker imbued with Horned Owl's Fury and two perm.
appeasement points.  He's a weaponsmith that makes weapons for his tribe.  But
since I don't know anything about the fate of the Coyote Confederation or the
current status of indians in HOE in general, he's not entirely fleshed out
yet.
