[HoE] Fear level

I have been around for 34 years and I still am afraid of spiders, does not
matter how small. Sure 10 foot radioactive spiders have been around since
the Last War, but if there was one in my area, I would have significant
fear even in my house. The fear in Deadlands is fear of the unknown, fear
in HoE is fear that my roof will be torn off and get killed by the spider.
Both are real.

Originally in the middle ages, the Reckoners could only create a small
number of abonimations, these creature were well known and everyone new
about vampires and werewolves. They created a small amount of fear but if
they got too out of hand, the villagers would rise up and burn down the
monsters castle or hunt him down.

After Raven let the manatou free, the Reckoners learned their lesson. They
used the fear of the unknown to capture some of the fear and return it to
them, this allowed the slow raising fear and the creation of more powerful
and unique fearmongers.

Once the last war allowed the Four Horseman to get her, the number and
power of the abomniation are increadibly high. Who needs the subtle fear
when you are afraid of leaving the house or town. Not only are the people
preying on each other but the abominations are powerful enough that the
regulare people no longer can consider buring down a castle since the head
abomination has an army protecting it. Fear and despair rule the world of
HoE.
