There is also a live-action version of this film --- supposed to be pretty

Also suggest/ recommend :

Hell Comes to Frogtown --- fun, fun PA movie with "Rowdy" Rod Piper
 - there is also a sequel with Flying Texas Rocket Rangers (but I have never
been able to track it down- and heard it is one of the worst movies ever
made).

and a movie I saw once and found it kinda fun, but haven't been able to find
