I don't think that no matter HOW long they've been around, Abominations and beasts from the Reckoners would not become "accepted" like animals. Fearmongers and Abominations generate FEAR and that makes EVERYONE freaked. We haven't accepted Jack the Ripper as a common kind of guy. (well, that depends on who you talk to, but I'm speaking of society here.)
