The Serenity RPG is fantastic, and the dice system did kinda remind me of DL. :)

Of course D & D used multiple die types as well but
the way in which they dice are used. I will know
better tomorrow when I pick up my copy.

The series it is based on 'Firefly' has been described
as a western in space and there is a lot of truth in
this. It is also reminiscent of the old Traveller
standby of a free trader and its crew.
