Another good resource, I've been told (haven't picked it up yet, but keep
meaning to) is the book "...And a 10 foot pole" published by Iron Crown
Enterprises - it's available from www.rpgshop.com for $25. it's got fairly
comprehensive lists of stuff from all eras from stone age to modern.
Every time I see it in a store, I don't have the cash. When I have the
cash, I forget to order the darn thing.

If you want an excellent resource for such things run (don't walk) and
pick yourself up a copy of The Knuckleduster Cowtown Creator. Otherwise I
have found that a nickle back then would buy what a dollar will buy today
(that is simply divide the price today by 20).
