Re: [DL] John Wayne?

Hi,
My first Deadlands' character, Winslow "Slowpoke" Monroe's physical
description was based on a young John Wayne. For his image, I dug up a
movie still of a scruffy looking Wayne from one of his early movies.
Morally, the character had something in common with Wayne in being a
generally upright lawman, but he wasn't as concerned with "Law of the West"
type honor. (His approach was to track the dastardly outlaws to their lair,
then sneak in the back while they are drunk and slap the cuffs on them.)
Slowpoke also didn't have anything like Wayne's presence. (What can you do
with 1d6 Mien? ;-) )

For more information, take a look at the website (which includes the
picture.)
