And people wonder why I despise the D20 version of Deadlands...
When you stat *everything* it kinda takes the fun away from the game now
doesn't it.

As others have pointed out, he isn't gone for good. There's no reason for
Death to just send him back, or just saying that he can only be killed by a
certain weapon and bring him back. I've been skimming though Ghost Dancers
lately and it even mentiones how a shaman can enter the hunting grounds and
bring back the soul of a dead friend. So if a mere shaman can do it, then
so can Death. You could even say that Raven brought him back as repayment
for an old favor (or maybe Old Pete made him do it), or simply that one of
the Last Sons, who have been following the posse around using various
animal forms and thus know what they're up to, retrives him.
But killing off Stone... *mumbles*
And I thought I disliked the D20 version before this thread....
