I believe you are correct...  in fact, I am fairly certain there is a 
section in "Ghost Dancers" that states you can't use the same ritual to 
obtain appeasement for a single favor.  Personally, I would extend this to 
replenishing Guardian Spirits as well (or at least require a certain time 
between performance of the rituals, say allowing a single ritual to only be 
used once per day to refill the Guardain Spirit's total.

My copy of "Ghost Dancers" is out on loan, but I'm pretty sure that the
Spirits frown on this sort of thing.
