At any rate, I have to ask, what I need to ask is:  which stats are you 
referring to?  I admittedly play original DL, not D20, but to be honest I've 
never seen any stats applied to Stone that aren't horrifically high.  Quite 
suitable to the original Grim Servant o' Death, if you ask me.

I've also seen it stated quite plainly in my own books that neither Hank 
Ketchum or any other hombre or posse is likely to kill Stone.

Is it different in the D20 version of the game?  (I hope not...  that was 
the source of my beef with Call of Cthulhu when it went D20, the fact that 
things that were fine as is were altered).

I have an impotant issue to address about Stone

For those that are familiar with Book of the Dead, they give a few stats to
Stone whish utterly rob him of how strong he should be. The fact of the 
matter is that Stone was portrayed in a way that a large
posse made up of heroes as powerful as Hank Ketcham could kill stone. Its
simply not right.
