RE: [DL] cackler
HELLOOOO!!!!!
Did anyone read the post on listserv courtesy???
We have players on this list who are not even allowed into No Man's Land of
some books. Please, please, insert spoilers into discussions regarding that
material.
Thank you,

"You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Ghost Rock, son. Nothing else in the
world smells like that. I love the smell of ghost rock in the morning. You
know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over
I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' Yank body. The
smell, you know that sulphurous smell, the whole hill. Smelled like...
victory. Someday this war's gonna end..."

I'd have to concur, the impression given is that Stone is Death's favorite
or at least foremost Servitor... why else would the Reckoners have chosen
him to be the one to go back and kill off all those pesky heroes? I'd even
say he may be the Reckoners favorite, actually, since Death is typically
depicted as the leader of the four (since War, Famine, and Pestilence all
cause Death).
I think the Cackler in relation to Stone might be a case of the following:
Cackler: "Stone? PAH!!! I was around long before you rose from your
stinking grave!"
Stone: "That's alright, boy... I'll be around long after you're back IN
yours."

Just to set the record strait, the reconers each have their own personal
poster boy Avatars/minions which are Raven, Grimme, Stone, and Hellstrome.
In this light, Stone should be the most bad @ss harrowed on the face of the
planet. Plus in the Weird West time line there is normal Stone and Future
stone running around. Also I want to say shame on Fred Jandt for the way he
wrote up Stone in Book of the Dead (D20). He's way too weak (might as well
have given him full stats). I was able to make a level 20 harrowed
gunslinger that was much more powerful than Stone. Stone should have many
more attacks and should make his attacks at +27 (+28 with master crafted
guns).
If I am wrong, please feel free to correct me.

A Lich, not a Harrowed, He is to powerful to be a harrowed,

No, I don`t think so - remember that he is looking for a girl, which is in
Weird West. He will come, and Death will be with him.... :)
