Steel yourself before reading the next sentence.  It isn't meant to be as 
harsh as it sounds.

My advice is to cut your teeth someplace other than PEG first.  I don't say 
this to discourage you but you need to prove yourself to Shane before he'll 
be willing to risk part of his company's future on you.  The word is that 
PEG has just entered into an arrangement with multiple partners to continue 
to work its lines.  Which direction you go in will depend on what you are 
wanting to pitch.  A good place to start would be to submit an article to 
Games Unplugged magazine.  You stand a better chance of quicker publication 
there than elsewhere.  Once you get a couple of publications under your 
belt, then you will be in a better position to approach Shane with bigger 
ideas.
