Good question. I have to assume that you are referring to such Miracles as 
Exorcism and Protection.

Since the automatons are really zombie brains in metal shells, I would have 
to lean towards allowing them to work, but maybe at a 2 TN penalty.    That 
would be a great way to expose the party to the fact that "something's not 
right" with the good Doctor's creations.


That does remind me of the old Pinnacle adventure bit on the website about 
the clockwork tarantula powered by a dog brain, and the dog part "woke up" 
and did what every dog does in a Normal Rockwell painting - started 
following this young boy around.  Only this dog was in a metal body and 
could squirt acid on the neighborhood bully. . .
