It's pretty pointless to be a Tempest and Huckster at the same time. you get one hex you can cast by useing fate chips for 5 points (or free if you got lucky on the mysterious background table) or full access to hexes as normal by buying the Huckster AB. it may make sense for a tempest to pick up Hucksterism during play to understand there powers, but as a starting character, it seems like awaste of points to me.

Can you check whether or not a Temptest can also be a
Huckster?  I think you can combine it with other
Arcane Backgrounds, but I think Huckster was
specifically excluded, along with...
