It is a cool idea at that... though I know some people who would comment
that the Marshal was unbelievably kind. After all, he could have made the
relic's curse/side-effect more like that of Bowie's Knife, only instead of a
burning desire to kill Mexicans it afflicts the wielder with a tendency to
attack children or other innocent people...
Then again, maybe my play group has become accustomed to cruelty, villainy,
and assorted uber-badness over the years. :-D
