Fair enough, thanks.

Hmmm. That doesn't seem like very much. Sure, four 3-round bursts can do
a
lot of damage, but it looks like you'd need to reload waaay too often.
In
d20, the average Agent gets two attacks a round if he doesn't move
around
too much. The picture of a Gatling pistol in the d20 book seems to
suggest
that the drum magazine could hold more than 12 bullets.
It isn't very much. It is kind of the point, I think. You
can't shoot up a whole town without reloading. More over, it is a
new idea, a recent invention, and that is one of it's flaws. If you
gave it a 36 round capacity (12 3-round bursts) it unbalances the
game. If you want something like it the Mauser C96 was mass
produced in 1896, but invented a few years before. It's
predecessor, the Borchardt was marketed in 1893, but invented in the late
1880's. You could move the years forward a decade or more and it
would make sense. Either of these machine-pistols makes the
Gatling-Pistol obsolete.
The Mauser "Broomhandle" had a 10 round clip and a 32 round
clip (it was made in the first year of production). It was a selective
fire automatic allowing standard bursts or single shot.
The Borchardt had a 10 round clip, and they made a 30 round one after a
couple of years. It was a selective fire automatic as well, and also
allowed full auto or single shot.
Both were expensive by the standards of the times. The Borchardt
cost $200, but was engraved with gold inlay on a heavy blued frame. The
Mouser was $75, and the 32 round clip cast $5.
All of this is generalized to some degree because I don't want to get out
my weapons history books at this hour of the morning. sorry if it
isn't accurate enough.

Have you noticed since everyone
has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used
to?
