I think the way to really grasp my point is to look at the exmaple of Borders. A fine bookstore - one of the best. But they are EVERYWHERE, and they price small local stores out of the market. I like Borders. I SHOP at Borders, but I also think the world would be a better place without it. The paradox of global capitalism is that the very system designed to increase consumer choice can end up destroying it.

Actually, I was kind of going on a separate topic - hence why I changed
the subject line. In retrospect, I should have been more clear, but it
was the combination of some elements of the D20/Classic arguments,
combined with the RPG.net frustrations in regards to Savage Worlds that
Shane is wading through...
