My home Posse was all male up until very recently(last week in fact),  and I 
can't really comment on how a girl is effecting them.

The groups I gamed with at school tended to have several girl players.  And 
for the most part the seemed as diverse as boy players.  In one DND campaign 
there were three girls.  One was a nice care giver Paladin with an 
attitude(the closest thing to a stereo typical girl type player),  One was a 
super munchkin,  and the last one was as close to as a sociopath killer as 
any male player I have ever saw.  It was really no different from playing 
with guys. Gamers are Gamers.
