Well, I can't help you with that but I can tell you, what I use in such props.
I print the handouts out on normal paper and when I rip them up a little bit, roll them into paperballs, flatten them, roll them until the paper is very soft.
If it needs to look older, I either smear some earth from the plants in the livingroom across the page or I make some black tea, let it cool and spray some of it on the paper.
Or, you could buy a sheet of fancy paper (which are made to look older) print the handouts and roll them to a paperball...

It looks much better than putting a crumbled background on a nice-printed handout.
