Just when you thought this thread was put down...
How Dominion points are split up at the beginning depends on how hard
the Marshal wants to work at it, and how mean he/she wants to be. 50/50
is fair and easy. 100% to the player is exceedingly generous and easy.
Building a solo adventure for the player to go thru the character's
worst nightmare, earning Dominion points for successfully doing certain
things, leaving the character with however many Dominion points he/she
earned, is the fun and fair way, but takes extra work.
By the way, the dead character isn't harrowed during the worst nightmare
adventure. It's a dream sequence of a sort usually. A morality play
for one. Check out the sample worst nightmare scenarios in the rule
books.
All that said, the harrowed PCs in my game have so far just gotten the
50/50 deal. None of us have time to play out the solo mind trip.
