[DL] Blunderbusses

 I don't recall ever seeing reference to a blunderbuss in Deadlands (although
 I guess I might not have looked closely enough at Law Dogs), but the topic
 came up in conversation last night and I'd appreciate it if some of you folks
 who know more about guns than is really healthy could throw some light on the
 subject.  When and where were they developed, what's their usual tactical
 role, and were they still in use in the 19th century?  Yosemite Sam has one...
