We have
the same time issue as far as gaming.
Normally we play biweekly, but currently we are in a 5 week stretch
between games due to various responsibilities. Our GM
handles the problem with a newsletter between games. We get a session summary, a description of new NPC’s met,
rule clarifications, and a few other things. So far, it’s
worked out really well. In
addition to keeping things fresh, it also helps to have a different viewpoint
on what happened. Sometimes you
just miss things for one reason or another that the GM is sure you picked
up. The newsletter provides a nice
safety net for those things as well. Clint Black "You smell that? Do you smell that?
...Ghost Rock, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the
smell of ghost rock in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed,
for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em,
not one stinkin' Yank body. The smell, you know that sulphurous smell, the
whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end..." |
