Let me try an understand you here. Everytime any posts a question, we (the
people trying to help) should first ask the gender of the poster?
as in:
question:
"Hey, what happened to those design quirks that used to be on the peginc
site? Marshal Smith"
Answer:
"Before I can tell you, are you a man or a woman?"

Tone. For example, it is generally assumed that capitalizing something is a
louder volume, as in yelling.
2nd example, "I need <blah>" vs. "Could anyone help me with <blah>". The
tone of the 2nd is much more polite than the first

Rude in many people's opinions, based on the number of posts I've read about
it.
People respond here because they want to help. They don't have to read any
of your posts at all. I've never had to reask or reexplain a question;
perhaps the first one wasn't as clear as you thought it was?
