         I wrote up the new Brawlin' Maneuvers for Classic DL first, then 
attempted to create D20 versions for them, and all of them were just 
obscenely long and rules-lawyer-ish. It wasn't until I took a closer look 
at the existing D20 Feats that I realized, "Gee, D20 kinda already *has* a 
version of this...."
         So, respectfully contrary to your impression, I came away with the 
feeling that the Brawlin' Maneuvers helped DL Classic "catch up" to D20 as 
far as options are concerned. Just my CS$0.02...
