So did we.  Larry, Curly, and Moe, and Oscar, Meyer, and Weiner were tasty.

I actually haven't seen the last bit yet, but I remember one of the kids 
being upset about killing chicken that wasn't laying.

A chicken ! stupid smelly things !  I mean, I could see being a big upset 
about a pig or steer.


More DLish, is the stated fact that only 1/3 made it, so the west would have 
quite a few completed or partially completed homesteads.
