Re: [DL] Player info vs. Marshal info
Not a problem at all.
At this point, anything in No Man's Land and Marshall's Territory is off
limits to us. (And my apologies if you felt blasted by me.. I was
attempting to explain what M's and my group can and can't see.) Anything in
a "green" (i.e. HOE) or "purple" (i.e. Lost Colony, when it is released),
and most especially Unity! <lol - apparently we can't even look at the back
cover>.
We haven't gotten access to the Book o' the Dead yet (we haven't had someone
actually get back up... Only Harrowed we had was the result of a Joker.) No
access to RCV 1 & 2, though we have one of those critters in the party...
What we know about his mechanics we have had to puzzle out for ourselves.
Almost all of the dime novels are off for us, as we haven't played all the
way through ANY of them yet, though we missed Independence Day in the time
line, so Wyatt told us what was in the players section as a tale in game.
No Martial Arts, no MiBD, no Voodoo, no Shaman (yet, though we have one
player that is ok'd to play one if he so chooses... he has met the
requirement to play one... In the case of the Shaman, it is just a case of
"payin' yer dues")
Black Circle, Hexarcana, Agency, and (I think... M can confirm these) BE: TN
and BE:TS (is that one even out yet?) are way off limits. I am pretty sure
that most of Lone Stars is too, though the Marshall did share the info about
the Shootist with us, since they *are* an allowed AB at this point.
(Granted, we don't get to know what is on the backlash tables without
experimentation... Then again, I personally have subjected my characters
to a LOT of that experimentation!)
Hmmmm.... It might be better if I mentioned what we *are* allowed to see...
I think the list is shorter.
1) Players sections: Law Dogs, Fire N' Brimstone, Hucksters and Hexes,
Main Rule Book, Quick and the Dead, Smith and Robards, Thaum Diff, Augmented
Handbook, City O' Gloom, River O' Blood, The Great Maze, and (with
supervision) Ghost Dancers. (We play First Ed so we don't have a Players
Guide and Marshall's Guide)
2) The section of No Man's Land in Law Dogs that deals with the Hexslinger.
That is only under supervision, as there are places after that section that
we can't go. Same goes for the page or so in RCV1 that deals with creating
an animal companion.
M, if I have missed anything, please let me know - I don't have the shelf in
front of me that you do :)
