i love HOL
the rules weren't that great but it was hilarious to
read
i DID like the damage system they used, everything in
the universe has 20 hit points and weapons do damage
levels to those 20 hp based on your resistance to
damage, it was interesting but hard to make rulings on

just my 2 pennies

p.s.- I will always hate d20 (i.e.
class-and-level-based architecture that uses hit points)
