I was wondering about this one myself, and the weekend before last Steve
Jackson was drinking in my local due to visiting a con in Dublin, and due
to the number of pints in me I approached him and enquired about the state
of GURPS Deadlands, whether it's not selling or what, because although we
on the List keep hearing about Deadlands D20, there hasn't been much more
than a whisper about the GURPS version.
Well, he said that GURPS Deadlands is indeed selling alright, and didn't
seem to know why it's had so little exposure amongst current Deadlands
fans, but seemed vaguely interested in pursuing the matter. Maybe the
above is the result.
Seems like a shame, GURPS Deadlands is just as valid an addition to the
community as is Deadlands D20. Maybe the reason for it being overlooked
is because the D20 version came directly out of the PEG stables, whereas
the GURPS one was handled by SJG?
