This is not evidence of the breakdown of society. The guy has mistaken
the list for a professional customer support group. He hasn't realized
that because he is like us, in the he is on the mail group, we must be
like him, unpaid, and responding to mail of our choosing, and in the
manner of our choosing.
Many people view mail list and news groups as such. The don't join in
discussions, they only ask questions.
