Thats cool. I always start my Shadowrun adventures out in 2052 or so, even
though the 'universe' has advanced to 2060+.

Well, here is a classic. Have them fight some bad folks, whoever that might
be. One of these bad folks dies, or is mortally wounded and wanders off. In
the latter case, they find him dead later.
Of course, the said dead person comes calling a few days...or weeks later.
