One must also remember the time frame of Zorro. Thinking back.... Zorro takes place during a time when California is a colony of Spain. That would place it prior to the mexican revolution of 1810, prior to Napoleon's take over of Spain in 1808. So that would make the adventures of Zorro over 70 years in the past to the deadlands scenario.
Now if some oppressed peons though found some one with magical powers to summon forth a hero to proctect and save them.... Now then does a GM bring in a dead Zorro, one which has been pulled from his proper time frame, or does the spirit of Zorro posess someone to fight injustice.
