Depends really, most standard amo in this time is not sealed, and wet powder
will not fire. a  quick immersion would probably give a percentage chance
for misfires, while a more prolonged stay under water would ruin the rounds.
If your posse is smart enough they can be sealed with something like a thin
coat of wax. My group went on a underwater cave system type adventure and
did just that.

  Specialty rounds from S and R could be considered different tho. More like
modern ammo which can stand a simple soaking.
