RE: [DL] [Shameless Plug] 101 Uses For A Goff Skull...
I took a chem/bio-chem class in college, with a guy who'd been in the
Marines for about ten years, in demolitions. I was never clear if he was a
combat engineer, or what. But as we were studying various chemical
compounds, he's see something familiar and say "Oh, that's why that
worked..." and such. He said they'd often be trained to make explosives,
inciniaries and such from common items, but just to the point of "mix
this-n-that, and set it off this way" and no explanations. He was having a
blast. Figuratively. :)
