I assume you mean if there are repeats, correct?
Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean by "accurately
simulate the function of the deck" unless you are also
simulating  a shuffling function to try to determine where
the cards lie deck-from-deck, which (of course) brings to
bear a whole bunch of other issues regarding the accuracy
of the shuffling simulation.
